Dečić's football players defeated Zeta (2:1) in the control match yesterday afternoon, then they were given time off just long enough to pack, so that late last night they would take a flight via Tirana to Antalya, where they will spend the second part of the preparations ahead of the continuation of the season in Telekom 1. CFL.
Antalya has been a football paradise for years and an ideal place for training. On the Turkish coast of the Mediterranean, the teams have ideal conditions to prepare as well as possible for upcoming commitments through training and friendly matches.
And Miljan Radović's team will play five control matches in Turkey - the rivals are German Koblenz, Pelikans from Sri Lanka, Ukrainian Dnieper, and Russian Nizhny and Orenburg, which will be a dress rehearsal for the Montenegrin team.
"Going to Antalya will bring us a lot of good things. One strong match is more beneficial than several training sessions. The effect, I believe, will be good, we will play against excellent teams. I hope that we will play properly, that we will all be healthy and that in the rest of the season we will continue where we left off. We will work on some new things and try to upgrade. I expect that we will make the best use of our trip to Antalya", said Miljan Radović for "Vijesti".
Dečić goes to Antalya for the first time for preparations.
"Dečič shows that it is an organized club, which tries to provide all of us with the best possible conditions. An excellent move, I think that our stay in Antalya will be beneficial", added Radović.
One native, however, is no longer there. And a very important one - Dečić left striker Ilir Camaj a few days ago, who will continue his career in Dhofar, the leader of the Omani championship.
"An excellent player and guy left. The club is trying to provide the best possible conditions for football players, to make a transfer from here. Camaj has been here for years. I'm happy for him, because he can improve. On the other hand, I'm not happy that such a player left. I hope that the newcomers will replace him properly, and in May we will see if that is enough or not. We have an excellent team, we can do a lot of good things even without that one reinforcement", said Radović.
Dečić is second in the standings, with eight points less than the leader Sutjeska.
