Left back of Croatian Rijeka Andrija Vukčević was the highest rated Montenegrin international last weekend. In the 26th round of the HNL, Rijeka defeated Slaven Belupo 3:0 at home, and Vukčević was on the field for 90 minutes, without a concrete performance. Nevertheless, together with his teammates, he saved the net, he was dangerous in the attack, so the website Sofascore rated him with 8,2.
After this triumph, Rijeka is in 3rd place in the table with a point less, but also a game more than Dinamo Zagreb, which is the leader.
In second place is South Korean Gangwon forward Dino Islamović (7,6). The representative of the "Brave Falcons" is doing great in the new environment - in the previous round he scored the leading goal against Daegu and it was his second goal in the last four matches. Gangwon registered a triumph (2:0) and is in 4th place in the table with seven points, three less than the leading Ulsan.
Islamović is followed by Zaglebje footballer Aleksandar Šćekić (7,3). Since arriving in Poland, the rear midfielder has established himself in the starting line-up, so he played all 90 minutes in the goalless draw with Piast.
Zaglebje escapes from the danger zone, tied three games without defeat, and the last two ended 0:0. After the 24th round, the team is in 13th place with 25 points.
In fourth place is the soccer player of Lazio Adam Marušić (6,9). On Saturday, the Romans were convincing against Cagliari, winning 3:0, and Marušić was sent off in the 89th minute due to two yellow cards. "Sky Blues" without a Montenegrin national team player visit Venice in the next round, and at the moment they are seventh in the table with 46 points.
The top five Montenegrin internationals of the previous weekend included Inčon footballer Stefan Mugoša (6,8). Inchon lost to Pohang (4:1) in the 0th round of the K League, suffering their first defeat this season, and the man from Podgorica played all 90 minutes.
Mugoša has scored in four matches this season, and Inchon is in 5th place in the table with seven points.
