An authentic football personality ended his career - Hannes Haldorsson, the best football director among directors and the best director among football players, marked the end.
Haldorson (37) was a long-time member of the Icelandic national team, a goalkeeper who saved Messi's penalty at the World Cup in Russia, but who in his "normal" life was a film director, and rarely a football professional, while he defended two seasons in Danish Randers, and per season in the Dutch NEC and Azerbaijani Karabagh.
Haldorsson, among other things, was the director of the video of the Icelandic representative for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, he directed the advertising video of Coca-Cola before the World Cup 2018, and last year he signed his first film - "Top Secret".
He defended 77 times for Iceland, was the first goalkeeper at the European and World Championships, played for local clubs KR, Stjarnan and Valur.
