The Czech football team will play without the injured Patrik Šik in the upcoming World Cup playoff match against Sweden.
The Bayer Leverkusen striker was on the list of invited players last week, although he has not played since February 18 due to a calf injury, and the Czech national team confirmed today that he will not be able to help the national team.
Goalkeeper Jirži Pavlenka is also out of the field due to injury, so Milan Heča and Vaclav Jurečka were called as replacements.
The match between the Czech Republic and Sweden is scheduled for Thursday, and the winner of that match will face Poland on March 29 for a place in Qatar.
