For months, Ronald Koeman could not regret the way he was sacked by Barcelona.
He is convinced that he did not get a real chance at the "Nou Camp" before president Đoan Laporta dismissed him and brought in Ćavi Hernández.
After that, Barca was undefeated for a long time, it is also remembered how they outclassed Real in Madrid, but the magic ended recently when they were eliminated from the Europa League.
"Xavi has certainly improved some things, and Barca have bought three strikers (Ferran Torres, Adama Traore and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang) who bring quality. So it's not a good comparison between my Barca and this one," said the Dutchman.
The numbers show that not everything is so ideal in this "new" Barcelona.
"When I left the club, we had eight points less than Real. Now the deficit is almost twice as big," the Dutchman pointed out.
Barca has 15 points less, Real needs only one to mathematically win the title.
