The younger football youth national team of Montenegro (U18) defeated San Marino 3:0 in the first of two friendly matches.
The "Falcons" routinely won on the road, and all three goals were scored by Balša Mrvaljević - he hit the home team's net in the 21st, 35th and 50th minutes.
"A well-deserved victory. We played a great first half, we had many chances, we could have led more convincingly. At half-time we made some changes, the rhythm of the game dropped a bit, but we still had several opportunities to score. I am happy with the players' approach to the game, but it's a shame that we didn't take advantage of more chances. We'll turn to the second match, where I expect the same level of seriousness as today," said coach Slobodan Drašković.
The same rivals meet on Tuesday at 11 am.
Montenegro played in the composition of: Petar Bobičić, Aleksa Mugoša (from 65. Janko Vukićević), Nikola Radusinović (from 65. Vladimir Kostić), Romario Camaj (from 78.
