Croatian coach Niko Kovač is the new head of Wolfsburg's coaching staff, the German club announced today.
Kovac signed a contract with Wolfsburg until 2025.
"I am a child of the Bundesliga and I have a great desire and motivation to add another chapter with the wolves," Kovac said, Hina reported.
In his previous career in Germany, he managed Eintracht Frankfurt, with whom he won the German Cup in 2018 and Bayern Munich (Bundesliga title and German Cup in 2019).
From 2020 until the beginning of this year, he was the coach of the Monaco team.
The former Croatian coach will be assisted on the bench by his younger brother Robert.
Wolfsburg finished the Bundesliga season in 12th place.
