Rudar is one of only four teams that has been a member of the Montenegrin football elite since its inception in 2006, along with Budućnost, Sutjeska and Petrovac.
In the second leg in Golubinja, Rudar took the lead in the 31st minute, when Nikša Vujanović, on Ivan Bojović's pass, went around the opponent's goalkeeper and hit the net from a difficult angle.
