Chelsea football club will send Romelu Lukaku on a one-year loan to Inter for 10 million euros, Italian media reported today.
As reported by Sky Italy, the London club is asking for 10 million, and Inter is trying to reduce the price to five million.
That is less than the originally proposed 24 million euros, which Chelsea would need to break even for the upcoming 2022/2023 season.
Inter sold Lukaku to Chelsea last summer for 113 million euros, but the Belgian wants to return to Milan, where he won the championship, and is ready for a lower salary.
Chelsea are aware that Lukaku is not satisfied and that he has not accepted the work system and tactics of coach Thomas Tuchel. The Belgian representative expressed his desire to leave on several occasions last season.
Sky and Sport Italia have reported that in addition to Lukaku, Inter wants to bring in Paulo Dybala as well as keep striker Lautaro Martinez.
