Arsenal of Tivat played to a 2:2 draw with Hungarian giants Honved at the end of the training session in Slovenia.
The debutant in the Montenegrin elite club had attractive preparations, as well as attractive rivals - Zagreb's Dinamo only reached the finish line with a convincing victory (5:1), the result was too strong for the Hungarian first league club Paksi (5:2), and the victory was also recorded against Slovenian Brinje (3:2).
Yesterday, in the final check, the people of Tiv were on the threshold of victory over the legendary Honved, with goals from Boris Došljak and Julian Montenegro they led 2:1 until the 78th minute, but the Hungarians tied the game at 2:2.
The assistant for both goals was newcomer Danilo Bakić, and another newcomer shined in goal - goalkeeper Igor Nikić, who recently arrived from Mladost DG.
In the first round of the new Telekom 1. CFL season, in which they will make their first appearance in the elite, on July 23, the people of Tiv will host Petrovac.
