As of Sunday, Bubućnost is officially dedicated only to the domestic scene.
They will make their debut in the 2022/23 season under Mali Brda (Sunday, 21 p.m.), after the 1st round championship game against Iskra in Danilovgrad was postponed due to the trip to Iceland the previous Sunday.
It didn't help, the team from Podgorica dropped out of Europe early, now the fight for the title begins.
"Euphoria and excitement always exist before the start of a new season, and it is the same now - we await all the next matches after the European matches with great challenge. Expectations in the domestic framework are always the highest, the name of the club only obliges us to that - the future must be competitive and we will do everything to bring the title back to our city", says goalkeeper Miloš Dragojević.
The beginning is complicated, Petrovac opened the season with an away win over Arsenal (2:0) and certainly has winning ambitions in tomorrow's match as well.
"Petrovac is a difficult and awkward away game, but such away games await us throughout the season, that's why we have to be right at all times. We have a clear goal in front of us, we will try to open the championship with a victory and thus successfully enter the new first league season", said Dragojević, who won eight out of nine trophies of Budućnost.
"We saw last season how difficult it was for us to get back into the right rhythm after a slightly weaker start. The beginning of the championship can determine the path and be a guideline for us. Petrovac entered the championship with great ambitions. I believe that he can be a serious candidate for the top of the table. However, as I already said, our goal is clear," said Dragojević.
