Nedović: There is no alibi, it is inadmissible for Budućnost to concede four goals

A bad ten-day period, in which they were eliminated in the double match of the 2nd round of qualification for the Conference League by Iceland's Breidablik, the footballers of Budućnosti rounded off with a convincing defeat away to Petrovac.

Newcomers from Jezera, Rodrigo Faust and Mamadou Mendi, were an unsolvable enigma for the "blues" and scored a 4:2 triumph with two goals each.

Podgorica took the lead at the "Mitar-Mićo Goliš" stadium with a goal by Lazar Mijović already in the 2nd minute, but from the middle of the 1st half, the home team was wondering about everything.

"We missed chances in the 1st half, when we had the score and the game under control, but it was felt that we practically played without a single stopper and we paid a heavy price. However, no matter who plays and from what position, it is unacceptable for Budućnost to concede four goals and look like this in one part of the game," said Aleksandar Nedović.

The coach of Buducnosti does not want to "cover up" with the story of fatigue after the duel with Breidablik on Thursday.

"For sure, the match with Breidablik also had an impact, but there is no alibi. If you wear the Buducnosti jersey, you have to act accordingly, play in any position and respond to the request. Injuries, cards, and corona have taken off, but that's all an alibi story. "Petrovac was better and deservedly better in this lineup," emphasized Nedović.
