The saga surrounding Robert Lewandowski's move to Barcelona lasted for a long time. In the end, Bayern gave in, and the Pole fulfilled his great wish and put on the "Blaugrana" jersey.
Lewandowski left Munich after eight years, and signed a contract with Barca until 2026.
"I needed a change, going to another country, to another club. Now I feel like a child who has a new toy," the Pole told "Marka".
He also referred to Bayern fans.
"I know that my departure has affected many fans, I can understand that and I want to apologize once again. It was important and necessary for me to understand that I am ready for changes. In the end, we are all human. After 12 years in Germany, it became clear to me that my time was up. It was a difficult situation for all parties and we had to find the best solution," said Levandovski.
