The Malian national team player Mohamed Kamara is the new player of Monaco, the club confirmed today.
Kamara arrives in Monaco from Austrian Salzburg, and signed a five-year contract with the club from the Principality. He plays as a rear midfielder and will be a replacement for Chuameni who left for Real Madrid.
The defensive midfielder arrived in Salzburg in January 2018 from the Mali club Real Bamako. He played 79 games for Salzburg, including 15 in the Champions League, and won three consecutive Austrian league titles.
French and Austrian media reported that the value of the transfer is 15 million euros, which Monaco will pay in installments over five years.
Kamara is Monaco's fifth signing in this summer's transfer window.
