Celtic is again in the game for the Montenegrin footballer: Hakšabanović is waiting for the green light from Russia

The Scottish champion went into action again to bring the Montenegrin representative.

Swedish Aftonbladet it is written that Celtic has again activated in an attempt to hire Sead Hakšabanović, who has been without a club since June 30, and without real training since ten days ago.

Hakšabanović is a member of Rubin, but he does not intend to return to Kazan, and his loan in Đurgarden expired on the last day of June.

About 15 days ago, the Russian media reported that Celtic tried to bring the 23-year-old winger, but gave up, because in the current football and political-economic situation, it is practically impossible to do business with Russian clubs.

Rubin allegedly asked for five million euros, while Celtic insisted on a loan.

Now, claims Aftonbladet, that option has become relevant again. The Scots would like the work to be completed as soon as possible, and Hakšabanović rejected some offers from France (Brest, Angers), Belgium (Anderlecht), as well as England (Leicester) precisely because of their interest.

A few days ago, the Montenegrin national team player said that he was training alone, after he spent some time in training in Sweden's Halmstad, the club where his career began, and from which he signed for West Ham as an 2017-year-old back in 18.

He moved to Rubin last summer from Norrkoping for 6,5 million euros.
