The president of the Football Association of Montenegro, Dejan Savićević, and the head of the Municipality of Rožaje, Rahman Husović, signed a contract today in Podgorica on the construction and equipping of an auxiliary facility at the Banžovo brdo stadium, FSCG announced.
The municipality of Rožaje turned to FSCG with a request for financial assistance for the realization of the project of construction and equipping of the auxiliary facility at the Banžovo Brdo stadium, for training and matches of all Ibra categories.
The building will contain changing rooms for teams and officials, as well as all other supporting facilities necessary for playing matches and optimal implementation of the training process of all age categories of the club from Rožaj.
"Improving the football infrastructure in the north of Montenegro is in the focus of the Association's activities, so after the implementation of a certain number of projects in other cities, the time has come to work on improving the conditions for playing football in Rožaje. The initiative of the Municipality of Rožaje to build an auxiliary facility is with pleasure accepted by the Football Association, so we will proceed with the realization of this project in accordance with the possibilities and joint forces. I believe that very soon FK Ibar and all its members, from juniors to seniors, will receive adequate conditions for carrying out the training process and playing matches at all levels of the competition." , said Savićević.
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husović thanked the Football Association for accepting the initiative and helping in the efforts of the local self-government to improve the conditions for practicing sports.
"By participating in the implementation of this project, the Association has once again shown its commitment to the development of football and the improvement of infrastructure in the north of our country. I am happy that in the near future Rožaj footballers will have much better working conditions and this, I am sure, will result in the success of all age categories of the club "The Municipality of Rožaje has created all the necessary prerequisites for the realization of this project and will invest the maximum possible in order to realize it in the shortest period of time", said the President of the Municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husović.
