Ivan Gudelj, a famous football player from Hajduk and a former member of the SFRY national team, traveled from Split to Niš in order to help Nišlija Nikola Stefanova, who suffers from a rare type of hepatitis and lives in inhumane conditions.
Gudelj, who himself suffers from hepatitis, learned about Nikola's situation, organized a humanitarian evening where he signed books, jerseys and t-shirts, and all the collected funds went to help the patient.
"Nis news" they report that the meeting was very emotional, Stefanov with tears in his eyes thanked Gudelj, who, not for the first time, showed that he has a huge heart.

It was only waiting for him to turn 28 years old - the regulations in SFRY were that players are not allowed to go abroad before their 28th birthday, but his career at the peak of his strength at only 26 years old was interrupted by a serious illness that forced him to stop playing actively.
