From November 11 to 14, Ulcinj will be a football Yugoslavia in miniature, thanks to the idea and enthusiasm of Pavle Pepđonović, a businessman and sports worker from Ulcinj, to gather ex-Ju football legends and world-famous names in one place.
"Vijesti" recently wrote about the event that will bring together numerous football aces, and one of the actors, the famous former football player of Hajduk and the SFRY national team, Ivan Gudelj, announced that the gathering will also have a humane character.
"It will be an opportunity for all of us to show ourselves as people. I immediately asked about Zoran Vorotović, I heard that he had a traffic accident and that he is in a very difficult situation. I want to help the lady, me and all of us. Together, colleagues who will be there. He was a great player but also a real guy. I want it to be a big action and I ask that we all take part in it, everyone who will be in Ulcinj. I know it will succeed, I will do my best, I believe the others will too," Gudelj told RTNK.
Zoran Vorotović is a former football player of Sutjeska, Budućnost, Crvena zvezda, at one time one of the best defenders of the SFRY. He had a traffic accident in 2001, is almost immobile, lives as a tenant...
Gudelj, who due to hepatisis had to end his career at the age of 27, when he was preparing to go to the highest level - his contract with Real had ended, has long been known as a great humanitarian.
So he recently traveled from Split to Niš, in order to help Nikola Stefanov, who suffers from a rare type of hepatitis and lives in inhumane conditions.
During the manifestation in Ulcinj, the promotion of the book "Ivan Gudelj - Hajdučka priča" by Blaž Duplančić, and the broadcast of the documentary film "Ivan's Game" directed by Tomislav Žaja, will be organized.
