Newly crowned world champion Leo Messi has set new boundaries on Instagram.
The post of the Argentinian star celebrating the world championship title with the trophy received more than 57 million likes by Tuesday morning and the trend is growing.
That post surpassed the post from the world_reccord_egg account, which had 56,1 million likes so far.
The photo of the egg was published on January 4, 2019 with the intention of achieving a world record on Instagram, and it was about a campaign for mental health.
And Messi's new post - a photo of him sleeping with the Golden Goddess on his pillow - created after the arrival of the Argentine selection could come close to the record.
