Manchester City has offered a new contract to Argentine striker Julián Alvarez, the popular "spider", after his great performances at the World Cup in Qatar.
Since the last match in the group, Alvares (22) has been a starter in every game since the end, scored four goals and was one of the key players in the championship campaign of the "gauchos".
City brought him from Argentinian giants River Plate in the summer of 2022. Alvarez played 23 games in the first part of the season and scored eight goals.
With the current contract, the Argentine is tied to Manchester City until the summer of 2027.
