Germany will host Peru on May 25 in Mainz and Belgium three days later in Cologne in friendlies as part of a 15-month run-up to Euro 2024, the German Football Association announced.
Germany is hosting Euro 2024 and will not be playing in the qualifiers - instead, coach Hansi Flick will have 12 friendlies at his disposal to better prepare his team for the trials at the end of the continental championship.
"Elf" was eliminated in the last two World Cups already in the group and has an obligation to present itself well in front of its fans, in a competition that Germany organized only once - in 1988. years.
"We are looking forward to this tournament and want to put together a team that plays football in an attractive way, with passion, enthusiasm and pride," said Flick.
