The English Football Association (FA) launched an investigation after Arsenal fans targeted Manchester City player Kevin de Bruyne in a Premier League match, the BBC reports.
Last night, City won at "Emirates" 3:1 and with a match more and a better goal difference took first place in the table.
The Belgian was targeted by Arsenal fans, who threw hard objects at him as he left the game.
Arsenal announced that it is studying the security camera footage, and that if the perpetrators are identified, they will be severely sanctioned.
De Bruyne was the scorer of the first goal, then he assisted on the third when Erling Haaland set the final score.
