The first football match in Turkey after the catastrophic earthquake that claimed more than 38.000 lives in this country also had a special, emotional message...
Before the Conference League match between the current champion of Turkey Trabzonspor and Basel, the fans of the club from the Black Sea coast spread a touching choreography.
It shows a rescuer wearing the flags of many countries on his helmet that helped Turkey find and rescue people from the ruins created after the earthquake.
Among them was the Montenegrin flag. It was a way for the Turkish fans to thank the Montenegrin rescuers who participated in the rescue in that country the previous days.
In the choreography, the rescuer is holding a child in his arms, and next to him is a dog that was one of the heroes of the rescue missions, while a hand holding a Turkish flag emerges from the ruins.
Trabzonspor won that match 1:0.
