Since the 2017/2018 season, Bayern have not lost more than three times to any team in the Bundesliga. Excluding Borussia Mönchengladbach - the team from "Borussia Park" defeated the biggest German club six times in that period, and on Saturday they did not lose for the fifth time in a row.
The most deserving of the victory (3:2) is the German representative Jonas Hofman, who shook the net of his recent teammate Jan Zomer, but also set up goals for Lars Štindl and Markus Tiram.
The weekend in the "five leagues" was also marked by great goals from free kicks by Borna Sosa, James Ward-Prowse, Mark Royce and Lionel Messi, excellent defense by Alison...
We present the players who marked the football weekend:
THE GOALKEEPER
Alison (Liverpool) - it seemed that the "reds" ended everything at the visit of Newcastle in the 22nd minute, because they were leading 2:0, and the "magpie" goalkeeper Nick Pope received a red card. Eddie Howe's players didn't think so, they created a lot of chances, but the Brazilian was great.
DEFENSE
Tiao (Milan) - Due to problems with the defense, Stefano Pioli changed the game system, decided to play with three at the back, and the young German made great use of that, who was unstoppable in the victory over Monza (1:0).
Sosa (Stuttgart) - For the first time after 31 matches, "Schwabe" did not concede a goal on their home field, and the Croatian left back is one of the most deserving for that. He crowned an extraordinary game with a masterful goal from a free kick.
MIDFIELD
Ward-Prowse (Southampton) - "Saints" are still at the bottom of the Premier League, but they got a wind at their back with a win away to Chelsea. The captain scored the only goal from a free kick, the 17th time in the Premiership that he has found the back of the net. The record holder is David Beckham with 18.
Roberto (Barcelona) - a goal and an assist from a guy who was often contested brought the "Blaugrana" victory over Cadiz.
Hoffmann (Borussia Monchengladbach) - Bayern did not beat the "draw" for the fifth time in a row, and the 30-year-old German representative shone.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) - the "red devils" defeated Leicester 3:0, and the Portuguese played an almost perfect match and received a score of 9,7 from the Sofascore portal.
ATTACK
Reus (Borussia Dortmund) - the captain of the "millionaires" scored a great free kick and assisted Karim Adejemi in the victory over Hertha (4:1), with which the giant from "Westphalia" tied at the top of the Bundesliga with Bayern and Union Berlin.
Rashford (Manchester United) - that the player is in the best shape in the world, the 25-year-old striker proved with two new goals for Leicester.
Mbappe (PSG) - and the ace of the "Saints" scored twice and was one of the heroes of the turnaround against Lille.
Real Estate (Lazio) - his post as captain of Lazio in Serie A lasted too long, he did not find the back of the net for more than 300 minutes, and then he scored twice in nine minutes (once with an assist from Adam Marušić) and decided against Salernitana.
