Real football player, Luka Modrić believes that his team, despite the defeat (1:0), was better than Barcelona in the first semi-final match of the Spanish King's Cup.
Real lost last night at home, after an own goal scored by Eder Militao.
"It's a shame. We played very well, but we lacked precision in attack. We created several opportunities, but we failed to realize them. Despite that, we played a pretty good game," Modrić said after the game.
The Croatian footballer also commented on the situation at the Barcelona goal.
"We were unlucky in that situation. I think we were better," said Modrić
The second leg in Barcelona is scheduled for April XNUMX.
"It's a pity that we didn't manage to score at least one goal, so that we meet the second leg with a draw. But we have one more game left, we need to be calm and believe that we can play better there. I believe in my team, I'm convinced that we can change this result," concluded Modrić.
