Radulović: It is more difficult to watch from the stands, we are waiting for the match with Serbia with great optimism

The head coach of Montenegro, Miodrag Radulović, congratulated the players on their "relentless fight and commitment" after the 1:0 victory over Bulgaria at the start of the European Championship qualifiers.

Radulović was unable to lead the team due to his suspension in the previous official match against Finland.

"It is much more difficult to watch from the stands. At one point I was scared because we didn't take advantage of some moments. There were sometimes wrong decisions, but all in all I'm happy with the three points. This will raise the atmosphere and confidence, and we await Monday and the duel with Serbia with great optimism. I hope that we will have a good rest, recover and enjoy the true spectacle", said Radulović.

Radulović said that he expected that Montenegro would have a lot of space against Bulgaria.

"In the beginning, we didn't use it, there were a lot of mistakes, we didn't have peace of mind. Later we did it better, we were rewarded".

Jovetic started on the bench...

"We had a plan for Stevan, I presented it to him, if he played 90 the question is how ready he would be for Monday".

Maybe it's a surprise that Hakšabanović was replaced at halftime...

"Hakšabanović played a good 45 minutes. Both he and Bakić did what we wanted. We needed quickness with Šćekić in the midfield. I am satisfied with how Hakšabanović played", said Radulović.
