Barcelona brought an excellent result from Madrid (a 1:0 triumph), had a great chance to "knock out" their biggest rival in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final, but they felt "royal class" at their "Nou Camp".
Real strolled through Catalonia with 4:0 and qualified for the final.
"They are the current champions of La Liga and the Champions League and we must not forget that. When you don't kill Real, then they kill you," Barca coach Xavi Hernandez told "As" after the match.
