At the beginning of April, football players Sutjeske were in a difficult situation - the current champion after the defeat in Nikšić by Unity (4:3), had five points less and a match more than Buducnost and seemed to be slowly saying goodbye to the title.
Three weeks later, the situation changed - Budućnost did not win three matches in a row, Sutjeska tied victories over Mornar (4:1) and Iskra (2:0), so with six rounds before the end, they have only three points less than Podgorica, against whom they will on Saturday (20 p.m.) to play the derby of the 32nd round of the Meridianbet First Montenegrin Football League, as well as the derby of the entire championship.
Nenad Brnović's team has a lower head-to-head score than their biggest rival, and it will remain so no matter how tomorrow's duel ends - they have been defeated twice, and once it was a draw. It is clear, however, that the people of Nikšić must win at home if they want to stay in the race for the cup and overtake their big rival in the remaining four rounds.
- In the second part of the season, we started well, and then we had a crisis of four matches without a win. We returned to winning ways at the right time, and on Saturday in the derby we have the opportunity to confirm our good play and make the race for the title uncertain until the end - Sutjeska football player told "Vijesti" Novica Erakovic.
4-year-old Novica Eraković played 23 games for the senior national team of Montenegro. Sutjeska's defense had a lot of mistakes in the second half, but the attack, which is the best in the league (61 goals in 31 matches), made up for everything.
