Arsenal and three other teams rejected for a UEFA license will have the right to appeal

If it were to happen that Arsenal or Iskra win a place in the qualifiers for European competitions by the end of the season, and Tivat are very close to that, they could be without that privilege due to not getting a UEFA license.

The Club Licensing Commission of the Football Association of Montenegro announced that the application for issuing a license for UEFA club competitions for the 2023/24 season was rejected in the first instance procedure for Petrovac, Mornar and Arsenal due to failure to meet financial criteria, while Iskra's application was rejected due to failure to submit financial documentation in within the period prescribed by the Licensing Ordinance.

The FSCG stated that the clubs that did not meet the prescribed conditions and whose requests were rejected, have the right to appeal the decision of the first-instance Commission.

At the same time, as stated by the FSCG, after reviewing the documentation, and based on evidence of the fulfillment of the criteria, the Commission unanimously decided to issue a license for Budućnost, Sutjeska, Dečić and Breznica.

When it comes to rejected teams, the closest to Europe - and by place in the table Meridanbet 1. CFL and in the Cup is Arsenal.
