The most difficult thing in football is to score a goal - unless your name is Armisa Kuč!
The Montenegrin representative crowned her sense of goal, class and football virtuosity with a hat-trick in the final of the Turkish Women's Super League playoffs. Fomget from Ankara won 4:2 over Fenerbahçe in the final in Izmir and grabbed the big trophy, and Misa scored all three goals in extra time.
The team from Ankara equalized in the eighth minute of stoppage time from a penalty, and then... Then Misa showed who rules on the biggest stage - she scored in the sixth minute of the first overtime (96th minute), then in the 107th, and after was reduced two minutes later by Namibian Zenata Koleman, the murderous Rožajka confirmed the triumph with a hat-trick, which she completed in the 114th minute.
- I am really overjoyed, it was difficult but we managed to reach the first title in the history of the club. I played only 13 games, I came in the middle of the season and in the right shape I entered the playoffs for the title in which I scored as many as eight goals - said Armisa Kuč, the striker of the Montenegrin football team and our best player for 2021, when the first time the Football Association awarded that award.
And her soccer path is inseparable from the national selection jersey, in which she has been since her first games in 2012. Together with the progress of the Montenegrin women's football team, the progress of Armisa Kuč also moved, from Ekonomist, through Sarajevo, all the way to Sweden (Kvarnsvedens), Spain (Zaragosa, Malaga), Belarusian Minsk, Russian Zenit from St. Petersburg and now Fomget from Ankara. In which she averaged a goal per game - 13.
- From the beginning at the Economist, only my passion and love for football remained the same, everything else changed for the better. Football has also become a women's sport, girls love football and there are more and more of them in training. From my vast experience, I can say with certainty that the girls in Montenegro are extremely talented and love football. Football in Montenegro is slowly becoming a women's sport. It is only necessary for the young players to accept that there is a coach's authority in the team, but also that the huge sacrifices through professional playing will pay off in the end. Today, young players have incomparably greater choices, but football is the best! The tickets for the Women's European Championship were sold out months in advance, the attendance record in Europe in the last year is held by the match of the Barcelona women's team at Camp Nou... Well, I'm going to watch the final of the Women's Champions League at the "Philips Stadium" in Eindhoven, Wolfsburg plays the great Alexandra Pop, but Barça is the favorite. The top team was gathered there. The desire of every player should be to reach those heights - emphasized Armisa Kuč.
That love and passion gave Misa the strength to be faster, stronger, more agile and bring the trophy to her team with three goals in overtime, even though she was on the field from the start.
- I'm in excellent shape, I don't feel tired from a decade of playing at the top level. And besides, it was, perhaps, my last game in Fomget, therefore the motive more. My contract expired after the final and I have a lot of offers, I just received one from Zenit. But there will be more, and they want me to stay here. We'll see. I'm also thinking about the national team, the beginnings were difficult, but now I can say that we have reached the quality that we can rightfully hope for a place in a big competition. The professional staff led by Mirko Marić is dedicated, it works systematically and in detail, so we already have players who perform in foreign clubs to put together a selection. I think at the moment we have 16 international women - explained Kuč
