Arsenal and Saliba agreed to continue cooperation

Arsenal has completed a big deal - the club from London has agreed on an extension of cooperation with William Saliba.

The French defender accepted the offered conditions and will play in the Arsenal jersey until 2027.

Salibi's current contract expired in 2024. However, Arsenal did not want to take any risks, so immediately after the end of the season, they started negotiations on the continuation of cooperation, which were successfully concluded.

The French international was one of Arsenal's best players last season. In the end, he missed 11 games due to injury, and his injury coincided with the weak form of Mikel Arteta's team, which was left without the title at the end of the Premier League.

Saliba moved to Arsenal in 2019 from Saint Etienne. Then Arsenal sent him on loan to that French club, so that the defender would later, also as a loaned player, play for Nice and Olympique de Marseille.
