After the Bundesliga, Premier League and Serie A, Edin Dzeko could try his hand in Turkey from next season.
As announced by Fabricio Romano, Fenerbahçe's negotiations regarding the signing of the Bosnia and Herzegovina striker are progressing and he will be the main target of the club from Istanbul.
Fenerbahce is also close to appointing Vincenzo Montela as the new coach.
Džeko, the child of a railway worker from Sarajevo, has worn the jerseys of Teplice in the Czech Republic, Wolfsburg in Germany, Manchester City in England, Roma in Italy throughout his career, and is currently a member of Inter in Italy, with whom his contract expired this summer.
On the other hand, Montela did not have much success as a coach in his Italy, but in Turkey he managed to lead Adana to Europe for the first time in history.
