Bosnian football player Edin Dzeko is a new member of Fenerbahce, the Turkish club announced today.
"Edin Dzeko will arrive in Istanbul in order to undergo a medical examination and complete the transfer negotiations," Fenerbahçe said in a statement.
This 37-year-old forward played for Inter Milan for the previous two years, with whom he recently played in the final of the Champions League, and scored 14 goals in total last season.
During his career, Dzeko played for Wolfsburg, Manchester City and Roma. He is the best scorer of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team with 64 goals in 129 games.
Fenerbahce finished the season in second place in the Turkish championship behind city rival Galatasaray. Fenerbahçe won the last title of Turkish champion in 2014.
The club, which won the Turkish Cup at the beginning of June, the first trophy in the last nine years, will play in the second round of qualification for the Europa League.
