Monaco forward Wissam ben Yedder has been accused of a sexual assault that took place at the beginning of the week on the Cote d'Azur, reports AFP.
The public prosecutor of Nice told AFP that "there are two reports of rape and two victims".
"We don't know the identity of the other suspect," said the judge, and France Info states that it could be Ben Yedder's younger brother.
France info also reported that two girls aged 19 and 20 reported Ben Jeder and his brother that they "imposed sexual acts" on them after the evening they spent together.
Ben Yedder played 19 games for the French national team and scored three goals.
In April, a court in Seville sentenced him to a six-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 133.798,70 euros for tax evasion.
