He wore the Budućnosti jersey at the beginning and end of his career (in the 1999/2000 season, and from 2011 to 2014), he was the captain of the "blue and white team", and now he is returning to the biggest football club in Montenegro to help young talents go. the right way.
Srđan Radonjić is the new director of the Budućnosti Youth School, the club from Podgorica announced on its website.
"I returned to a position well known to me, because I worked as the coordinator of the Youth School of the Future, and was also the coordinator of the club in front of the Football Association of Montenegro. The director of the Youth School is a similar function, with the fact that now I have much more freedom in making decisions, and that brings with it greater responsibility," explained Radonjić for the club's website.
His goal is clear...
"I hope that we will quickly improve and solve some visible shortcomings, and the most important thing is that as many boys from the school as possible be in the first team," Radonjić is clear.
The former striker's last job in Budućnost was as an assistant in Mladen Milinković's coaching staff, during his first term in Podgorica.
"In the previous period since I've been there, we've put emphasis on getting as many boys as possible to join the first team. Often youth and cadets trained with the first team, and that's an immediate sign that they are on the scanner of the head of the professional staff, Mladen Milinković. And sports director Andrija Delibašić, and coach Milinković, as well as myself, follow the training sessions of the younger categories every day and we don't want to miss anything," explained Radonjić.
He believes that it is up to the talented guys to impose themselves through commitment and behavior, and that the club will certainly give them a chance if they deserve it.
"There are many examples, and the last one is Vasilije Adžić," added Radonjić.
At the start of the season, the youth and cadets of Budućnosti achieved two victories in two games each, while the pioneers also celebrated at the start.
"In general, the goal, as I emphasized, is for as many players as possible to reach the first team and play an important role, but it is also important to develop a winning mentality. The future must win in all selections, because when these boys reach the first team, it will be easier to bear the pressure Radonjić pointed out.
He also stated that he is open to coaches, parents...
"We are always looking at some other talented players, because we want to bring as many talented kids as possible to Budućnost," says Radonjić.
Budućnost states that the football school of this club will start on September 2nd, when the first training session will be held at the Camp at the Old Airport and when registration will take place. They emphasize that at each subsequent training, additional registration will be possible for anyone who wants to join, and that all information can be obtained on the phone number +382 67 097 605.
"The soccer school is intended for all girls and boys from six to 11 years old, we will devote ourselves much more to them than in the previous period, and the main goal is to learn the first steps of soccer through playing and socializing. We will do everything to ensure that all beginners are present at some tournaments where we won't be interested in the result, while the 2012/13 generation will play in their own league," concluded Radonjić.
