Budućnosti footballers from first place are going on a representative break - yesterday in the 7th round of the Meridianbet First Montenegrin Football League, the current champions defeated Jedinstvo away (4:1), so they have two points more than Jezera and Petrovac.
Jezero played without goals with Dečić, while Petrovac shared the points with Mornar (2:2).
And Buducnost solved the question of the winner in Bijelo Polje after half an hour of play. Adnan Orahovac scored first in the 11th minute, then Vasilije Adžić scored, and Tonći Mujan crowned an excellent half hour. By the end, Petar Grbić also entered the list of scorers, who set the final score after Andrej Cvijović scored the goal for Jedinstvo.
"The game was open, and we expected an aggressive approach from Jedinsta. The opponent had the desire to prove himself in front of his audience, he had situations, but luckily for us he did not take advantage of them," said Vladan Savić, assistant coach in the professional staff of Budućnost, for the club's website after the match.
Including the Cup, Budućnost recorded its fourth win in a row this season in Bijelo Polje.
"We used our situations in the right way, the team felt good, and the most important thing is that we won three points, which was our primary goal. We started a series of victories before the break, and that gives us the right to rest a little, but also the energy to prepare as well as possible for the continuation of the championship," Savić explained.
Buducnost will do mini-preparations in Belgrade during the representative break, and the first match in the domestic championship is against Sailors in Bar on September 16.
