Pioneers after a draw, convincingly defeated by Bulgaria: "It's hard to match when we play two games in three days"

The pioneering football team of Montenegro was defeated today in Sofia, in another friendly match, by Bulgaria 6:0.

The first duel between them, on Tuesday, ended in a draw 3:3.

Gabriel Jordanov led the home team to victory in the 27th minute, Nikolaj Popov in the 32nd minute, Vasil Ivanov in the 39th minute, Danijel Čaušev in the 45th minute, Petar Bajrakov in the 67th minute and Danijel Dimov in the 69th minute.

Selector Minja Ljumović said that it was simply unbelievable that the Montenegrin selection showed two completely different faces in two days.

"In the first game, we led 3:0 and could win convincingly, while today we conceded six goals. Bulgaria is not that much better, but today we made some mistakes that the rival took advantage of. It proved that we can hardly physically match our opponents when we play two games in three days," Ljumović said.

He emphasized that the fact that three players complained of injuries at halftime of the first game speaks volumes.

"Today's result speaks volumes about that. I hope that we will learn from these two matches, because this generation has a lot of room for improvement," Ljumović said.
