Sutjeska football coach Vladimir Janković will not be able to lead the team from Nikšić in the next three Meridianbet 1st CFL games, and he will have to pay 1.000 euros to the coffers of the Football Association of Montenegro, the FSCG Disciplinary Commission decided.
As stated in the FSCG announcement, the punishment came because of this, because Janković insulted the referees during Sunday's match with Dečić, which Sutjeska won 4:0.
"According to Article 58 paragraph 1 point 2 of the FSCG Disciplinary Rulebook, Vladimir Janković - the head of the coaching staff of FC 'Sutjeska Meridianbet' is sentenced to a disciplinary measure Banning him from performing his duties for three matches and a fine in the amount of 1.000 euros for unsportsmanlike behavior - insulting the referees in match 8 . of the Meridianbet 1.CFL circuit and has no right to perform functions as long as the disciplinary measure lasts," the FSCG statement reads.
All this means that Sutjeska will be without a coach at the matches against Rudar, Jezer and Mornar.
After eight rounds in the new season, the Meridianbet 1st CFL club from Nikšić is in fourth place in the table with 11 points - four less than the leaders Budućnost and Jezera.
