It is true that this cooperation came about somewhat suddenly, but it is not that there were no contacts and discussions about possible cooperation with the Dečić administration in the earlier periods. We agreed that I will lead the team in this and the next season, but there are still some details that we need to agree on. I'm primarily thinking about the composition of the professional staff, since I also have people I trust, respect and like to rely on their work - explained Peković.

We have known each other for a long time, we played two seasons together in Partizan and it is quite logical that we cooperate, but unfortunately we did not get the necessary reinforcements in the Bulgarian team to meet the ambitions of the club. Now I have a new challenge ahead of me, in a club that is progressing step by step, and I hope that the stadium in Tuzi will be ready for the start of the spring part of the season. The club is trying to improve in every aspect - says Peković, who knows the Dečić team solidly.
- I mostly know the players, through the selections, the national team, but also coaching preparations in matches against the teams they played for. From Monday, I will get to know the situation in the team, habits and opportunities to progress in the sports field as well. I know that there are winners in the team and we will work to ensure that the results are in line with the expectations of the club, the fans, the management, the team - Peković concluded.
