The Scottish football club Rangers has appointed Filip Kleman as the new coach.
As reported, the 49-year-old Belgian coach signed a contract for three and a half years and will stay at Ibrox until 2027.
He will meet with the team on Monday and begin preparations for the match against Hibernian at Ibrox on Saturday, according to the club's website.
"It is an honor to be appointed Rangers coach, I am grateful to the board for this opportunity. I am extremely excited about the opportunity to achieve success in one of the most famous European clubs, in the four competitions that await us this season and beyond," said Kleman.
He replaced Michael Beal on the bench, who was sacked two weeks ago due to a series of bad results.
Kleman had a successful coaching career in Belgium from 2017 to 2022.
He won three consecutive championship titles, one with Genk and then two with Club Brugge. After that, he worked in Monaco from January 2022 to June 2023.
