The women's cadet football team of Montenegro was defeated by Slovakia (4:0) in the second round of the preliminary qualification round for the European Championship.
Viktora Havalec announced the triumph of her team with two goals in the first half, while Matilda Slukova and Tamara Kramlikova scored in the rest.
"I am satisfied with the fighting spirit of the girls, they gave their best. The opponent is at a much higher level both technically and physically, so they dominated throughout the game. It is very important that in this generation we have as many matches as possible with stronger opponents such as Slovakia, because it brings us additional experience for the future," said selector Mirko Marić.
The last match in this qualification phase, Montenegro will play on November 11 at 11 a.m. against Lithuania, the host of the tournament.
