Delegates of the Association of Clubs FSCG Centar have decided - the new president is Risto Lakić.
He defeated Dragan Vujović at the extraordinary Electoral Assembly in the race for the first man of the region.
29 delegates voted at the session - 16 voted for Lakić and 13 for Vujović.
The elections in the central region were organized after the death of the former president, Vladan Vučelić.

Lakić was a candidate of Iskra Football Club, and Vujović of "Football Montenegro" Association.
In a short presentation, the new president of the former Central region emphasized that during his mandate he will advocate for improving infrastructure, solving financial problems that almost all clubs have, promoting football among the youngest population, and strengthening human resources.
"We need better infrastructure. We need new fields and stadiums. This is the biggest problem of our association. In cooperation with the local self-government of the municipalities on the territory of our association, and it refers to the cities of Podgorica, Nikšić, Danilovgrad and Kolašin and the newly formed municipalities of Tuzi and Zeta, as well as our umbrella House of Football, I will try to find appropriate solutions for all clubs. And especially for those from the third league, in order to solve this problem permanently. One of my ideas is that, in cooperation with the capital and the Football Association, we start in the implementation of the construction of a training camp in the settlement of Zlatica. The mentioned camp is a 60.000 m2 complex and its construction would largely solve the problem of playing matches, both for younger selections and for clubs that play in the third league, i.e. the senior league of the Association of Clubs Centar ", said Lakić, a former football player of Budućnost, Partizan and Vojvodina, a member of the Montenegrin national team and a member of the first Montenegrin football team after gaining independence.
"I will try to promote football even more and all of us together among the youngest population. I believe that we have room to do it in some areas where our members, that is, the clubs of our Association, may be neglected, that is, they are not given enough space to get new members".
"I am aware of the fact that the clubs have problems with finances. I am also aware of the fact that on the first day I will be met with requests for help and solving various situations in which some of the clubs found themselves. We have to look for a solution in several ways. Try to get a certain help from the local self-government and acquaint them with the very difficult and complex situation that our clubs are in and, on the other hand, ask for help from the Football Association of Montenegro. smooth functioning".
His opponent, the legend of Montenegrin and Yugoslav football Dragan-Guzo Vujović, briefly addressed the delegates before the vote:
"Unfortunately, here you are not voting for the program, but for the interests of those who brought our football to this state. Vote as you wish, but know that you will be complicit in the abyss and what little football we have left".
We wrote yesterday why these elections in the Center region, formerly the Central region, are more significant than ever before, football Montenegro is divided like never before, and the tension can be felt in the air even before the start of the session.
In the end, however, a lot of things happened in a more peaceful tone than the circumstances announced, because the gentlemanly demeanor, as well as the relationship, of the two opposing candidates, Vujović and Lakić, have the greatest merit.
"I had a worthy opponent, an opponent. Dragan Vujović was the assistant coach of the youth national team, Serbia and Montenegro, of which I was a member. Dragan Vujović was one of the biggest fans of Budućnost when I was the sports director of the club. I know, because we we watched almost every game together. It's true that today we are on different sides, but we are the least different because of him," Lakić said.
Vujović thanked him for his kind words, congratulating him on his victory, and the scene from the final part of the Electoral Assembly, when all Vujović's delegates left the hall, while the legendary dribbler of Buducnosti and New York Cosmos stayed until the end, was picturesque.
Before that, the representatives of Koma, Savo Barac, addressed the delegates, who told Lakić that in the days before the Assembly, he had to visit all the clubs in the region, to inquire and listen to the problems, and to offer a plan, which, as he points out, he received from Vujović.

Miodrag Džudović spoke in front of the Association of Coaches about the pressures and blackmails that he, as well as individual coaches who are members of the Association, face.
