From football school, to victories at prestigious international tournaments, the title of league champion, the Zlatna lobta football club has come in eight years since its establishment.
Although without its own fields, the club manages to train and contribute to the progress of the Montenegrin men's and women's national teams with several champions of the game. In the club founded in December 2015, there are more and more recognitions, cups and successes, even though the Golden Ball does not have its own grounds.
"We have to be proud of our long-standing cooperation with the football club Buducnost, and we are able to allow the children of our club to improve on large fields. This is very important, and we use the large fields for competitors from 11 to 15 years old. There are seven coaches working in the club , and we teach the basics of the most beautiful game in the world to children as young as five years old on small fields, at elementary schools "Sutjeska", "Pavle Rovinski" and in Dahna na Zabjelo", said coach Miloš Vukčević.
This year, his chosen ones achieved the greatest success by winning the "Podgorica trophy" tournament, and the competition was "hell" - Dinamo Zagreb, Crvena zvezda, Partizan, Astana, CSKA Sofia, Sarajevo and Borac Banja Luka.
In earlier years, Barcelona also came, and there were successes against Shakhtar, Maribor..., such as the "First Steps" tournament in Split.
"We try to participate in numerous big tournaments outside, and we are the initiators and organizers of the "Podgorica trophy", an international tournament where we try to make the competition as strong as possible. That "golden" generation of ours in 2010/2011, which won so a demanding tournament, and the champion in the cockerel league last year, and this season we are competing in the pioneer league and we are in a good position in the standings," emphasized Vukčević and added:
"Our focus is on the football development of children so that they leave our club as technically and tactically prepared as possible for older age categories. It is true that Buducnost is meeting us as much as possible, but we hope that we will soon get a location for the construction of the field, so that we can made the work easier and rounded off a beautiful football story that has been going on for eight years. We can already boast that we have left a mark, but with better conditions and the great talent of 400 students, our school could also mean a bright future for Montenegrin football," concluded Vukčević .
