French footballer Karim Benzema has denied media reports that he wants to leave Saudi Arabia and return to Europe.
Al-Ittihad coach Marcelo Gallardo recently left the attacker off the list of passengers for the tour to Dubai, and after that the French media wrote that Benzema was unhappy and wanted to return to Europe.
"A pure lie! The French media no longer know what to invent. The bigger the lie, the better," Benzema said.
Benzema is currently training individually in Riyadh, to get back in shape after the winter break.
The French striker left Real Madrid for Al-Ittihad last summer after 14 years.
