Sead Hakšabanović has not played for the Montenegrin national team since September.
It "broke" the moment when former coach Miodrag Radulović included him in the list for the Euro qualifiers against Lithuania and Bulgaria, and he said that he would not come.
"Sead called, he said that he needs to fulfill obligations related to moving from club to club, from Scotland to England, so we won't count on him," said Radulović at the time.
Hakšabanović now plays in Stoke, and FSCG president Dejan Savićević explained at today's press conference that the winger is still a candidate for the national team.
"Hakšabanović had a problem with the previous selector. Then he didn't come to the meeting and Radulović came to me and said that he won't call him anymore. Now there is another selector and he is wondering. Hakšabanović is a candidate for the national team, the decision is up to Prosinečki" , pointed out Savićević.
Prosinecki is obviously familiar with the qualities of the former Celtic player.
"I know who it is, that he plays in Stoke. He is a different player from others, and different ones are always interesting. Now he is in the competition, whatever the problems were before," said Prosinečki.
