The first preparations with the first team were enough for the talented midfielder to convince the coaching staff and coach Mladen Milinković that he can already be counted on.
Budućnosti scholarship holder, 17-year-old Danilo Vukanić, after returning from Antalya, signed a professional contract with our biggest football club until January 2027.
"I am glad that my club recognized in me someone from whom it can expect a lot in the coming period," said the new number 17 of Buducnosti for the club's website.
He signed the contract in the company of his father and sports director Andrija Delibašić.
"I understood the signing of the contract as a reward and recognition for the great effort, work and sacrifice of all the years that are behind me. It gives me a chance and incentive for further progress and tracing the development path as it should be - step by step," says Vukanić.
Danilo came to Budućnost from Kolašin, he is a member of the talented generation of 2006, as well as the cadet selection of Montenegro, which narrowly missed qualifying for the European Championship. In addition, he is on the wider list of the youth national team that will fight for a place at the Euros in March.
"I feel that I have progressed physically, and the preparations have especially helped me in maturing and in my visions for further progress, both through youth and senior football - of course if I get the opportunity. It is my great wish, because I think I am ready for that big challenge," he added.

"I did well with the team during the preparations in every sense. Everyone accepted me well, socializing was at a high level, and the most important thing is that I got a chance to play good matches and I believe that I used the trust of the coaching staff to some extent".
Budućnost emphasized that Vukanić will often be "a type of help for the youth team".
