Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos said that he agreed to play for the German national team again, after the request of coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Kross has not played for the "Manshaft" for three years, since the defeat of that selection in the round of 16 at the last European Championship.
"From March I will play for Germany again. Why? Because the coach asked me, I want to do it and I'm sure this team at the Euros can do much more than most people believe," Kroos wrote on Instagram.
Germany will play friendlies against France and the Netherlands in March.
The host of the European Championship, which starts on June 14, will play in a group with Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland.
