Dinamo called Modrić

The president of Dinamo Zagreb, Mirko Barišić, called Luka Modrić and suggested that he come back and wear the jersey of the Blues next season, reports the Croatian Index.

Modrić's contract with Real expires in the summer, it is certain that he will not stay in Madrid, so Dinamo want to take advantage of that situation and bring back the 2018 Ballon d'Or winner to their ranks.

Barišić explained to Modrić that the doors of "Maksimir" are open to him, and the Croatian representative said that he was satisfied with what the president told him and that he would consider the offer when he thinks about continuing his career.

Index writes that at the moment the financial details of the offer are not known.

Modrić rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia the previous summer, MLS clubs are reportedly also interested in him, and Real coach Karlo Ancelotti offered the Croatian representative a place in Real's coaching staff. However, there is little chance that Modrić will accept Ancelotti's offer, because he still wants to play and be at the World Cup in 2026.

In 2008, Modrić left Dinamo for Tottenham for 22,5 million euros. He stayed in London for four years, and then moved to Real, with whom he won everything there is to win.
