Brighton footballer Kaoru Mitoma will miss the rest of the season due to a back injury, the English media write.
Mitoma missed the previous match with Everton in the Premier League, and the manager of the "Seagulls" Roberto de Zerbi confirmed that the Japanese representative has finished the season.
"This is a big problem for us. He will be out for two or three months. He finished the season," said De Zerbi.
Mitoma was one of Brighton's best players last season, but has had injury problems this season. In December, he was sidelined due to a wrist injury, and because of that, he could not fully help Japan at the Asian Cup.
Brighton is currently seventh in the Premier League table with 39 points, and in the next round they are visiting Fulham.
Before that, Brighton will host Wolverhampton in the round of 20 of the FA Cup tomorrow (45:XNUMX).
