Thanks to the automatic clause, Stefan Savić got a new contract from Atletico Madrid and will stay at the "Metropolitan" at least until the summer of 2025, announced Fabricio Romano.
This summer, our footballer had a contract with "Kolćoneros", but there was also an item in it that says that if he plays at least half of the 20 games in the season, he will automatically get another year of the contract.

Stefan Savić arrived at Atlético from Fiorentina in 2015 and very quickly grew into a leader and symbol of one of the strongest teams in Spain and Europe.

During this season, Simeone decided to rest Savić in some matches, when rumors started that this was the end of the love between the Montenegrin and the "kolćoneros", and as his contract expired in June, it was also said that he would leave Madrid in January.
